we have had snow and ice here and i am tired of it. i want spring to come so i can get outside i hate going out in the cold. having some friends over for the super bowl...still haven't decided who i want to win. no big news here, my son is doing well out with his cousins, looking for work but it isn't promising in this economy...wish he would let me give him some money but he wants to 'make it' on his own...kids!

feeling sad

my son just went to visit family and i found out that he plans to stay with them for an extended period of time. he is looking for 'new opportunities' i wish him the best, but i will miss him, even though we didn't see each other real often it will be even less now. maybe it is a ploy to get me to come visit. jr doesn't think the old man gets out enough. guess i'll have to plan a trip

Football is over

yea i know the super bowl is still ahead, but i don't care who wins. I wanted the eagles to win, of course and since they are out, i lost interest. i will still watch the game, but there won't be any excitement for me in it. baseball will be here before we know it, then I can root for my phillies and be happy all year that they are champs.

Winter...a good time to stay inside

I don't like the cold, think i should move to florida. went outside tonite and about froze. ordered chinese so i didn't have to go anywhere or cook...i don't like to cook so i go out to eat alot. when the guy came to deliver the food, he slipped and fell on a patch of ice on my sidewalk...hopefully he won't sue me. He said he wasn't hurt, but who knows what he might feel like when he wakes up tomorrow morning? so I ate my General Tso's chicken and watched the mummy, haven't seen the new one yet. wow am I thirsty...they put so much salt in that stuff. tomorrow I hope it isn't so cold so i can go take some pics in the am, then it is football all afternoon and evening. Fly, Eagles Fly!!!

Long Time away

i started this blog accidentally, and then I left it and didn't write anything for a couple weeks. Well, here I am back again to talk about my life. I am a Philadelphia Eagles fan, so i am happy now cause they are in the playoffs. I hope they beat arizona. i also hope that the ravens beat the steelers, not because I am a raven's fan but because I am a philly fan and therefore hate pittsburgh...that's the only burg in pa that can have an 'h' on the end of it...did you know that? My vast knowledge of the state of pa is amazing! things are really good right now. The weather hasn't been too bad, not a lot of snow...just some ice storms, but i didn't have anywhere to go, so it didn't matter to me. LOL too bad for any poor saps who had to travel in it...people drive like crazies, it isn't safe to be on the road with them! I work out of my house and don't have much need to go out when it is bad weather...lucky for me. it has been real cold here, I think I could take my food and put it outside and save the electricity on my fridge! LOL but then I would have to go out and get it when I wanted something to eat and I don't want to go out in the cold so....bad idea!!!
